Tempering coolant filtration

Filtereco manufactures tempering coolant filtration systems, for both companies that work with induction hardening, and those that work by heat hardening.

Quenching coolants are usually subjected to considerable contaminants, such as protective powders, soot and particulate matter introduced via the worked pieces, etc.The likelihood that the tempering characteristics will be altered and various agents will be deposited onto the surface of the pieces is high. The result is a sharp deterioration in the quality of the heat treatment and the need for more frequent cleaning operations, which leads to additional collateral costs for the company.

TEMPERING BATH PLANTS

Advantages of fine filtration

  • removal of solid particles
  • water removal (optional)
  • optimal technical characteristics of the pieces treated
  • net improvement in the quality of surfaces
  • continuously cleaned wash baths
  • longer lasting washing baths
  • clean heat exchangers and conveyor belts
  • lower costs for the company

INDUCTION HARDENING SYSTEMS

Advantages of fine filtration

  • complete removal of solid particles
  • optimal technical characteristics of the pieces treated
  • net improvement in the quality of surfaces
  • possibility of combination with filtration equipment for the DR.COOLANT system for treating bacterial loads without the aid of chemicals

TEMPERING COOLANT FILTRATION SYSTEMS ARE DESIGNED ACCORDING TO THE CLIENT’S MEASUREMENTS ON REQUEST, CAN BE AUTOMATED AND FITTED WITH SELF-CLEANING FILTERS.

Coolant filtration systems, whether for induction or heat hardening, are also often complemented by other complementary Filtereco products like:

DR. COOLANT

OIL SEPARATORS

LUBRICANT COOLING MONITORING

In this type of metal work, both solid particles and aggressive bacterial attacks are significant problems, that production shut downs, generating waste and increasing manufacturing costs.
